An example of mutualism as a client Harlequin monitor (Varanus dumerilii) is seen spending at least half an hour asleep in the stream, letting the Blue danio (Danio kerri) and Freshwater prawn (Macrobrachium sp) clean it by feeding on ectoparasites and any skin debris.
