	Project goals    and objectives

         To create awareness of the importance of conserving natural resources and the environment and at the same time to support efforts to provide viable economic alternatives for local residents.

        To sustain the Khao Phra Theaw ecosystem and socio-economic community for the long term.

         To promote collaborative partnerships and constructive communication among the various stakeholders involved.

	"Khao Phra Thaew is an ecological outdoor classroom for everybody. The project also concentrates on the villages surrounding the forest, so that by educating local people we can ensure the continued safety of the ecosystem of this forest.
